  • Rajmohan Gandhi, Research Professor at CSAMES, was featured in the Book Corner column of Inside Illinois. His book, A Tale of Two Revolts: India 1857 and the American Civil War (Penguin Books India), reconstructs events from both struggles. Gandhi said that he "felt that a comparative and joint history might illumine poorly understood corners (of the conflicts)."
