Extensive experience in research, teaching, extension, and consulting in agricultural production systems, innovation, strategic planning, entrepreneurship; and higher education. Experienced in MEMS, multi-ISFETS, bionanotechnology, remote sensing applications, precision agriculture, sensor development for environment-friendly agriculture, vision systems, wireless networks, and systems integration. Research in biological characteristics of food, grain crops, biosecurity, traceability, crop stress, and nanomedicine. Experienced in research and large-scale project management, multidisciplinary team-building at national and international levels, policy formulation, and grantsmanship. Built contractual partnerships at academic institutions for university-industry research collaborations for innovation-based entrepreneurship in the areas of micro and nanotechnology, sensing, advanced manufacturing, nanomedicine, precision agriculture, and food safety.
